VIRTUAL PATIENT EDUCATION SESSION:

Living Well With Heart Disease: A Patient Education Seminar on Arrhythmia, Diet & Safe Exercise

Welcome to our next Patient Education Session!

We’ve brought together Cardiology, Nutrition and Kinesiology specialists to help you better understand heart rhythm health, nutrition, and safe exercise. Whether you’re newly diagnosed or looking to strengthen your heart health, our presentations are designed to give you practical, evidence-based guidance you can use right away.

Session 1: General Arrhythmia
Presented by Arrhythmia Alliance
This session covers the fundamentals of arrhythmia—what it is, why it happens, and what it means for your daily life. You’ll learn how to recognize symptoms, understand your treatment options, and know when to seek help.

Session 2: Heart Healthy Diet
Presented by Neda Rezvani, Nutritionist
Good nutrition is one of the most powerful tools for protecting your heart. In this session, we’ll discuss practical strategies for building a heart-healthy plate, making smart choices at the grocery store, and understanding the often-confusing world of supplements.

Session 3: How to Exercise with Cardiac Disease
Presented by Flora He, Kinesiologist
Exercise is essential for heart health, but it’s natural to feel uncertain about what’s safe—especially after a cardiac diagnosis. This session will help you understand the benefits of physical activity, how to exercise safely, and how to recognize when to stop.

We encourage you to take notes, ask questions, and speak with any of our presenters after the session. Your heart health journey is ongoing, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.
