Isabella Rodriguez, RD

Isabella is a Registered Dietitian licensed with the College of Dietitians of Ontario. She completed her undergraduate degrees at the University of Toronto in Human Biology, as well as at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) in Nutrition and Food. She went on to complete her Master of Public Health in Food and Nutrition at the University of Toronto, where she performed a clinical emphasis for her dietetic practicum.
Isabella has experience working at several of the University Health Network (UHN) hospitals in downtown Toronto, including Toronto General Hospital, Toronto Western Hospital, and Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. She specializes in various clinical areas, including cardiology, diabetes, kidney disease, oncology, and bariatrics and weight management. Having worked with dozens of patients ranging from youth to seniors, she uses a personalized approach to helping her clients manage their health conditions and/or improve their dietary habits by developing nutrition interventions that complement their unique lifestyle, preferences, and goals. Using evidence-based knowledge to guide her practice, she strives to help her patients optimize their health through food’s medicinal properties, simplifying the complex world of nutrition to empower them to make informed health choices.
Rob is a kinesiologist with a degree in Physical and Health Education from the University of Toronto. He has over 30 years of experience working at one of the most reputable Cardiac Rehab Programs in the world where he helped people adopt healthy and effective exercise routines. Specializing in Exercise and Lifestyle Management for individuals living with Advanced Heart Failure, Rob continues to share practical tips on how anyone can start (or improve) an exercise program that will not only make them feel better, but also decrease their risk of having cardiac events.
